1. Keep it clean.
2. Cover with thin layer of vaseline if you want to swim or buy a barrier spray in the first aide isle to protect it from germs.
3. Scrapes often get a thing yellowish/white film over them that is just new tissue forming and not an infection.
4. A think layer of ointment or vaseline will keep it from cracking while healing and reduce scarring.

Probably use some more peroxide, because if it's pussing there's still bacteria in there or something. An open scrape does heal faster, but they're also quicker to cause a scar. If you keep a bandage and some kind of ointment on it, it won't leave as much of a scar, if it leaves one at all.

Yes, keeping it open as much as possible will help it heal faster. But cleaning it with Dial soap and water is good. The antibacterial properties in Dial will help it from becoming infected. Use a light layer of gauze dressing when you sleep or wear pants to keep it from becoming irritated. Scrapes on the knee take longer to scab because of the motion of the knee.

I think an open scrape heals much faster. You can try putting some gauze on it.

probably a splash of an infection. common fix... First, sparkling out the wound with hydrogen peroxide making use of a gauze pad. as quickly as wiped sparkling, save on with an antibiotic ointment, collectively with Neosporin. cover with a sparkling bandage, and you're good to pass!

Air helps healing.
STOP bending your knee.
Go to the drug store and buy some "liquid bandage".
