LOL !!
When the only traffic light for miles is the flashing yellow at the 4 way in the middle of town.
Porch sitting & car watching are considered Entertainment !! True Story !!
The Birds and the Rooster are your only Alarm clock !!
The post office is considered a Safe House !! Another True Story !!
Home grown means " fresh out of the garden " !!

People feel free to walk across your pasture to fish, and wave at you when you look to see who's out there.
There are only 2 businesses on main street. And 2 churches in town. And there's only 300 people in town.
Seeing a variety of animals outside. From deer in the front lawn, raccoons and possums wanting to come inside, to 5' bull snakes. Knowing the police number to call to have said snakes removed...by memory.
People are nosy and know your cars and report strange cars in the driveway to the police when a friend or relative is visiting.
There's a cornfield in your backyard...and it's not yours, but you can pick it!
The barn is a local party area. Strangers stop by and say "I see your tree fell. Can I cut it up and take the wood?"
There's more, but I'll stop now.

When you go to visit family in the big city your vehicle is the only one thats dirty and has cat prints all over it. Mine always has cat prints on it even if I clean it.
Dogs roam free in the yard and aren't chained up.
Everybody waves at you while driving, do that in the big city...people think your nuts...lol
