I think they are about the same. Eddie is a little better though. So What is your opinion on it?

I think Eddie is technically more skilled than Slash, but Slash sounds better... Slash has some of my fav solos and guitar riffs...
Also people tell you to listen to "Eruption" by Van halen, i think it's very good in terms of skill (it was superfast) but it didn't sound that good, because it was loud and high-pitched and just gave me a headache.

i like Slash better. He makes less sounds and more substance, although van Halen sounds pretty amazing sometimes, but i like Slash better.

van halen's shredding and tapping ability surpasses slash's by a mile but slash has more touching solos and puts way more emotion into his playing

but between eddie & Van I would also pick " Eddie "
