I would immediately retire from my job and fill my days with avocations which I enjoy immensely, but haven't the time for right now.

How strange.
I had a dream once, or was it a nightmare?
A space ship landed on Earth. The inhabitants invited anyone to return to their planet with a return to Earth at any time.
I went.
The inside of the ship had no manual controls, all automatic.
When we arrived on the planet, the first thing I noticed, everyone wore uniforms.
I was taken to a building where everyone was tested for aptitude for a career.
All diseases had been conquered. Everyone had a choice as to how long they wanted to work. They could have all the credit they wanted for all their needs and pleasures, but they had to work enough years to pay for everything. Those who wanted more, worked longer. Those who wanted less, worked fewer years.
Retirement was part of the work time. Again those who needed less worked less, others worked longer.

I chose to stay there.

Where am I now?

Since I'm a Christian, I'm already offered the chance to live forever one day. However, if what you ask took place, then there would probably be no retirement. Isn't that what most folks look forward to?

So everybody lives "forever"? Soon Earth would become way overpopulated and we'd have to move to other planets, figure out how to make more food and water, et cetera . . Too many people . .

actually, most ppl would probably be a lot more irresponsible with their lives knowing they had an eternity to make it better. things that cause sickness such as smoking , drugs, alchohole, being gay, and other things wouldnt matter because you would know it wouldnt kill you.

what would you change in your life if you knew you only had a month to live?
