It sounds more like you need to check the print settings of whatever program you are using to print stuff out in, it is probably set to multiple copies.
Either that or you are clicking print more than once (I've seen people do that when their computer is slow and after clicking three or four times it will start to print - and they will sit there and act confused when it spits out a copy for every time they clicked...).
Go to the start menu, and click on printers - doubleclick on the printer you are using, and it will open up the queue. Send something to the printer, and see if only one copy pops up in the queue - if it says it is going to print more than one, then it is definitely in the program settings (you also have the option of only printing the pages you want out of a large document).
If the printer is actually just making several copies - then look through the book for the printer and see if it has an option for turning that on/off. I've actually never heard of a printer doing that before - it was always program settings, or user error (or both).

All this stuff is controlled by the program and printer driver. Open a file, go to print and look for the option "Single copy only" or similar. Make sure it's ticked. Or go to the printer manual and find out how to reset the factory defaults. To stop something printing click cancel in the print window. To clear the print queue, click the little printer icon in the Task bar (right side) and look for Cancel printing. Practice on a dummy run first. It takes time to find all these things.

Sounds like the driver DEFAULT copy is set to multiples.
In control panel / printers and faxes right click youre printer, select properties, then printing preferences at bottom.
Check in the main driver page if there is a "copies" set.
Also does it do this from ALL programs ? Try a simple 1 line of text from "notepad" if it does it it is DEFINATELY driver related, if not might simply be th application like word doing it. Word has a copies option in the print box too.
Failing these, uninstall and reinstall driver, but that's not where I think problem can be solved quickest.
Look for COPIES setting in dreiver.

It's not the printer its the comand. In your printer where you hit print- check it over and see how many copies its asking you want... this should say 1. Good Luck

click "record" in the top left nook of your reveal. seek for "print" and click on it. A window ought to pop up in which you will set up the type of copies you want. in case you have numerous printers, choose the only that has the subject and go into "possibilities" or "innovations" and alter the selection in there. desire this works.
