You know, until about 1980 most celebrities conducted themselves well in public. They were poised and grounded, and didn't blather aloud the first thought that came into their heads. People nowadays have no sense of self-restraint -- they're like out-of-control four-year-olds. And the media eats it up.
Honestly, that whole circus when Paris when to jail for a couple of weeks was just asinine. You'd think it was the greatest tragedy of modern times, instead of a citizen paying the consequences of their actions. And jeez, I still remember that ridiculous O.J. Simpson pursuit in the white Bronco -- what was it, two hours??? Who cares?
