I know there is not plug in, on the Dell for the printer, but can I set the printer as remote access?

OK, I went to walmart and got a USP parallel printer adapter, with user manual and printer adapter, a tiny disk to put in my computerk, and I was so tickled that I was going to be able to print. But the adapter does not fit the hewlett Packard Plug, and the walmart employee told me that all the adapters were the same size. Now what do I do, and can I take the darn think back, the package was really hard to get into and I cut it up with sissors. Cost me 22 dollars.

You should be able to find a printer card for the computer at http://www.geeks.com providing that you have an available PCI slot to install it into. Then the computer will have a standard printing port to plug into.
Hope this helps

Are you sure the port in the Dell computer is USB or is it Fire Wire? They look similar but are not interchangeable.

What model of Dell do you have?
