I had the 8th pick in a 10-team league with no moves as of yet.

Here is my team:

QB- T. Brady, J. Cutler
WR- M. Colston, D. Jackson, R. Brown, J. Cotchery
RB- S. Alexander, B. Westbrook, C. Benson, C. Williams, D. Williams
TE- C. Cooley
K- J. Kasay
DEF- Jacksonville, Seattle

I know my WRs are a little weak and I have plenty of RB to trade for but so far no one wants my RBs. My kicker is maybe not the best but it is just a kicker. Any suggestions or advice on how to improve my team? For my 10 points, I need an in-depth answer by rating my team on a scale of 1-10 and rate it on each position if you can please.

Overall Letter Grade: A-, 9

I don't understand how you managed Westbrook and Alexander. Either this is a small league, or some of your fellow owners are, um, "mentally challenged."

QB: 10, Rock Solid. At worst, Cutler will become fabulous trade bait. Brady is a good as you can get without having Peyton Manning.

WR: 7, Average. I love Colston. Jackson is always an injury risk, and Reggie Brown has yet to seize his potential. Cotchery is more of a possession receiver, with Coles taking some of his cheese, but he's good as a backup.

RB: 9, Solid. High-risk, high reward. Tons of depth! If Alexander returns to form, you will go nuts. Westbrook is always an injury risk, but he had his best season last year. Your depth is ridiculous. Benson, Cadillac and DeAngelo? One of those is bound to pan out. I think Benson is the most likely to fail. it would not suprise me to see Adrian Peterson or Garrett Wolfe take over in Chicago for that injury-prone crybaby.

TE: 8, Solid. Cooley is very underappreciated.

K: 7, Solid. Kickers are a crapshoot anyway.

DEF: 8, Both mid-tier, but solid. The NFC is soft, so Seattle may play more than Jacksonville. JAX has some tough opponents on the schedule like Denver, in Denver

Leave this team alone. Don't tinker, don't trade away your depth. Be patient, and see who emerges in the preseason.

That's a very good team.

Overall-8
QB's- 10: Brady will be awesome with the new weapons he has (Moss especially) and the Pats like to throw near the end zone. Also, when Brady is on bye, you have Cutler playing at KC, which is a nice defensive match-up.
RB's- 8: Alexander and Westbrook alone will win you a league, and you have nice bye week coverage with Benson. I rode Cadilaac last year and he let me down, so I'm not too high on him. DeAngelo will split time, so maybe a trade for a WR is in order?
WR's- 7: You don't have any bye week trouble, and Brown will be good. Jackson is a question mark only because of the QB and the great running game he has to work against to get on the board.
TE- 8: I like Cooley, and he definitely has made a connection with Jason Campbell last year, but he has an early bye, so scour the waiver wires for a TE with a nice match-up in week 4. Green Bay against Minnesota is primed for a big receiving game, as the Vikes linebackers can't cover anyone.
K- 6: After the top 3 guys are gone, a kicker is a kicker, really.
D- 7: Both very solid, with JAC being a little more valuable if your league gives points for holding opponents to lower scores.
Overall, nice job drafting. You avoided bye week troubles and got a team that should coast you into the playoffs if your league has 10 or more teams.

You team is very good. As you mentioned the extra RB's will make for good trade bait later. Brady is obviously a top QB. Your WR's aren't great, but they are solid. You can always trade a RB for a top WR later. Somehow you ended up with an incredible RB draft for picking 8 out of 10. Alexander fell way to far, so that is an amazing pick up. Westbrook is always great when healthy. Not sure how you ended up with Alexander, Westbrook, Brady, and Benson in a 10 team draft. May have been a live draft with a few guys drafting oddly (that's why my team is stacked!). Cooley is a great TE, I have him and think you are set there. Don't worry about to kicker or D to much. If someone gets hot, just make sure you are the first to the free agent list. I would give you an 8 out of 10, just like your draft spot. With a few trades you could easily get a 10 out of 10. You should have one of the best teams in your league.

You have a great team, but you cant start all your great rb's so you might want to trade some for some decent wrs you should be close to the top if not the top in your league.

QB- Fine
WR-Ok, Can always pick up a shining star during the season.
RB-Fine
K-who cares, good enough
Def- Drop one of those teams and pick up another reciever or something, When your def has a bye week, just get someone else, You probably can even get them back if you want too.

Overall, your in good shape, I say and '8'.

QB- 10
WR- 7
RB- 6
TE- 7
K- 8
DEF- 7

Your running backs are very shaky. Alexander won't have a good season. Westbrook will get no carries due to McNabb playing. You need a better #3 wideout. The Jaguars D is good but Seattle's D is mediocre at best.

the type you ended up with Braylon and Andre is previous me, as is the reality which you have wound up with Adrian Peterson, Jamal Lewis, and Ronnie Brown. the only subject I see is TE as suggested before yet Davis has upside, and protection, Baltimore's protection has slipped plenty over the final couple of years. Grade: B+
