My fiance recently saw an advertisement in our college newspaper. It was an ad regarding egg donors. Now she is considering having her eggs harvested. The people are willing to fly her to Chicago and pay her $5,000

I think this is a bad idea because it is an unnecessary, elective, invasive medical procedure. From what I have read, it is also potentially harmful to her and could even make her sterile. The $5,000 could be, in the long run, insignificant compared to the problems that could develop.

Obviously, I am concerned about my fiance's welfare and want to research this as thoroughly as possible. So, if anyone has any actual personal experience in this, I would really appreciate it if you could share your experience with us.

Thank you.

I don`t think its a good idea because it would be her kid if the baby is born. She would miss her kid that she never knew. You two are getting married I don`t think its necessary for her to sell her eggs.I learn in class that selling eggs is illegal.

Can`t she be a surrogate mother instead.Carry their baby not hers?

Yah that would sound like allot of money to us even I had the idea too before but I won`t want someone else to have my kid.
