I used to work for Armani and Ralph Lauren as their fragrance demonstrator for 2 1/2 years. YES perfume does expire. However if you keep it out of humid places such as the bathroom, or from sunlight it will prolong the life. Best place to store perfume is in a cool closet. Usually perfume has a shelf life of 2-5 years. Some do last longer, you can tell when it has gone bad because it will STINK, and will not smell the same on your skin as it once did.

Most perfumes have a 24-month life span. If you still have the box, it may have a little picture of a round container with the lid off, and something like "24M" or "36M" written in it. that means 24 months (2 years) after opening, it expires. Some you can keep for longer, and they're fine, but if it starts to smell bad, toss it out.

Yes it does... The perfume will smell as if your spraying on alcohol or a cleaning product and there is no saving it... It expires after 1 or 2 years... see the provided website...

yes it does it seperates in a way and loses it original scent. it depends on how long it was in the store, where you bought it from, the temperature in you home and the store it came from. it should last about 2 years. they sell many expired scents at bargain stores, booths at the mall, and little side shops. if you love the original scent buy a new one but not toilet water what most people buy which is a light version of the scent but straight perfume from a department store because if it goes flat to soon return it and get a new one this may last 3-4 years.

Normally it does not expire dear.
It may reduce in quantity as the time passes by.
If its cap is not closed properly, some of its fragrance
may fly away and the alcohol portion remains.
You should keep it closed tightly and you should not
keep it under direct or indirect sunlight, if it enters the
room even through the windows.
It runs through a long period of time, say many years
and mostly people finish it by that time.
Remember that if it is a copy or fake one, then it may
loose its fragrance pretty soon.
Bye friend.

yes it does expire. and you can tell depending on what the ingredients are in the bottle. perfume should be thrown out every 1 year and half- two years depending on what kind ,etc. i know some that cna last for six years. to make perfume last longer dont store it in the sun and keep it in a cool, dry dark place. theirs no way to make it new again after it expires but i like to keep the bottles for decoration or to grow unique flowers in.

yes it does. It will loss it potency and be really weak smelling or sometimes some just don't smell as good anymore.
A good way to store perfume is when u by some don't throw away the box. Store it in the refrigerator inside its box and if u don't have a box then u can still store it in the frig its just better for it when its in the box. This will help it last a whole lot longer.

Fragrance compounds in perfumes will degrade or break down if improperly stored in the presence of:
Heat
Light
Oxygen
Extraneous organic materials
Proper preservation of perfumes involve keeping them away from sources of heat and storing them where they will not be exposed to light. An opened bottle will keep its aroma intact for up to a year, as long as it is full or nearly so, but as the level goes down, the presence of oxygen in the air that is contained in the bottle will alter the perfume's smell character, eventually distorting them.[1]
Perfumes are best preserved when kept in light-tight aluminium bottles or in their original packaging when not in use, and refrigerated at a relatively low temperatures between 3-7 degrees Celsius. Although it is difficult to completely remove oxygen from the headspace of a stored flask of fragrance, opting for spray dispensers instead of rollers and "open" bottles will minimize oxygen exposure. Sprays also have the advantage of isolating fragrance inside a bottle and preventing it from mixing with dust, skin, and detritus, which will degrade and alter the quality of a perfume.

I don't think it expires, but it does go bad after a while.
I has some perfume that I kept aroudn for about 5 years and its smell finally went bad.
Not sure how long it takes, but I would guess about 3 to 5 years.
I doubt you can refresh it after it has gone stale, but who knows. Good luck.

Well it doesn't expire but it is made with alcohol with evaporates quickly. So if you leave a cap off or there is a leak in the container then it likely will evaporate or not have as much of a scent.
I don't think there is anything you can do to reverse this.
