after 3 or 4 days take off bandage dab with salt water smear with germilene and put sizeable plaster over wound do not try to use hand to much or you could pull stitches.its only 7 days and they will take them out anyway.

You can take the bandage off. Actually it is better if you do. Just at night put some gauze on it and tape it. Don't listen to these people that say liquid bandage. You can not put anything liquid on stitches.

The exact reason the bandages were put on his to restrict movement, so that the stitches doesn't break or loosen and possibly cause infection of the wound.

Yeah, I agree the liquid bandage works pretty good. I use it.

take it off no worries about getting it wet, just dry carefull afterwards, dont put on spray plaster make it worse! how you think they stitch up lips or insides!!!!!!!! the wet wont matter!
