I don't think you can brake down individuals into two groups and make any accurate blanket assumptions.

If I had to answer I would say, No way.

I would say yes that men sometimes need more reassurance then women do.

a little more reassurance (also known as support and/or
CONSTRUCTIVE criticism -- that ain't spelled N-A-G)
