Okay, I would rather the radicals not answer this question but that is dreaming. To all Liberals and Conservatives. Honestly please. Do you REALLY agree with EVERY view on your side and DISAGREE with EVERY view on the other side? Or is it just the major points? I can agree with some views from both sides. Am I in the minority like it seems?

I believe the majority of people are like me, helplessly lost somewhere in the middle with no party that reflects our views 100% of the time. Often elections are the selection of the lessor of two evils instead of the selection of the person that reflects our views.

I consider myself a moderate with liberal leanings. That said, I don't agree with everything said on the liberal side and I don't disagree with everything said by the conservative side. There a more issues that I am staunchly for or against than issues I am unsure about, but I find that I am open to changing my mind on some of them as I grow older and evolve as a person. And, for the most part, even if I have a strong view on something, I try not to automatically discount the opposite side.

If we are indeed a minority, then I don't mind. I think we are in pretty good company.

I agree with some views on the right, and some views on the left. I like to think of myself as a right leaning moderate. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = Liberal, 10 = Conservative), I put myself at about 6.5.

When I vote, I don't vote party lines. I pick the candidate that I feel will best fit the role, and will get the work done. I usually avoid the extremes, and go with someone more toward the center, whether Republican or Democrat (but I do go more Republic though).

I think only the Radicals agree with everything on a particular side. Most people are in the middle, they just don't know it.

So no you are not in the minority becasue you are closer to the middle. You may be in the minority seeing as you're a free thinker, and not easily influenced by what other people want you to beleve.

Anyone who thinks for themselves instead of being told what to think will, at the least, sometimes disagree with their own party. I don't agree with the Democrats on everything.. but I agree with a lot more of the issues that are important to me than I do with the Republicans. Another thing I've noticed.. some people will go to a party for one issue.. such as abortion or stem cell or gun control.. whereas others may overlook one important issue.. such as the above.... for a more complete match over-all.

No, I am a liberal and I don't agree with every point, and I DO agree with a few points on the right. I am willing to listen to more from the right, if it can be brought to my attention without name calling. I don't think you are in the minority...some have said that I am more moderate than liberal anyway.

No. For the most part, I'm a liberal, but I sometimes find myself agreeing with some of the conservatives here on some issues.

No I do not agree with every view of my side and disagree with every view on the other side. First off I am pro-Israel. I am also anti-amnesty for illegal immigrants, I do not HATE Bush with every bone in my body but I think he is an incompetent president. I do think terrorists commited 9/11....not Bush but that just proves I am not an extreme liberal.

You are not alone. This why I am an Independent. I feel both parties are full of problems. Right now it's the Republicans and their refusal to understand what has happened with Iraq and their resistance to help those in need. The Democrats because they just don't seem to have the balls to stand up and fix it.

I think most reasonable people share you position, it's difficult to agree with everything any organization does. But the major points define the parties so you should agree with most of them if you are in that party.
