Well you could start by understanding that Muslim is not a race. How can you be racist against "not-a-race"?
Yes go talk to a few Muslims and you'll see that they will tell you that they don't want to kill you. OF COURSE THEY"RE NOT GOING TO ADMIT THAT THEY WANT TO KILL YOU YOU TOOLBOXES, THEN THEY WOULD GO TO GITMO. Jesus how did the people in this country get so stupid?!
Do you really think they are going to publicize their intentions if those intentions are to behead every non-Muslim on the planet? The actions of a segment of their community suggest the intent of the rest. The inaction of the majority suggests nothing. YOU DON"T HAVE THE FIRST CLUE WHAT THE AVERAGE MUSLIM THINKS ABOUT NON-MUSLIMS! And trust me they aren't going to tell you before they cut your head off.
A Danish cartoonist draws a fairly unoffensive cartoon about Mouhamed and the "peaceful" Muslims all over the world start destroying stuff. Come on you cowardly apologists. All religions are whacked, Islam is just more whacked than the rest

I have met a few Muslims who are normal people. Sure, they go off & hide to kneel on a mat in strange places at odd times of the day but other than that the Muslims that I know are just like the rest of us. One I would even call a good friend.
We Christians have some strange rituals too...

In general, don't judge a group of people, or an individual for that matter, until you "know" them as a person. If you come in with preconceived notions about what a person will say or do before even meeting them, you are setting them up for failure because they will more often than not do "something" wrong to confirm your suspicions and then you lable the entire group as "bad." I think it goes back to the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated. It works for me!

Read a good story or go and talk to a few.. there are plenty of good muslims out there.. they just aren't as vocal.. or get reported on as often.. as the radical ones. I mean really.. how many good stories do you hear about christians? Yet we know there are plenty of good christians... but we know this because we have met them.. we just hear about the cults on the news.
My brother-in-law is from Pakistan and is a wonderful person. He loves America and his family.. and he is Muslim.

meet an actual muslim. The truth is that most muslims are very friendly and extremely tolerant. They have no conlict with us at all. in fact they maintain the the US is a safe haven to prqctice their religion and the appreciate that. Its only the extremists the go crazy. Al-qeida is like the middle-easts version the the KKK. Its not reason, its a super secret club for the mentally insane

Well... I guess the first thing is to look at the purpose of your own value system. Basically, to provide guidance, consistency and a point of reference for your day-to-day life. If your value system is built on negatives, then how many positives does it take to make a particular value crumble? Personally, I've found that looking at people as individuals has allowed my value system to remain intact for all my adult life... and I'm no spring chicken! :-)
As for radical Muslims, remember the keyword is 'radical', meaning on the fringe; NOT part of the norm. Also, no religion or political group has a monopoly on terrorism. For example, a Google search on 'IRA' and 'Army of God' will prove that point. A few radicals do not make all Christians bad; a few radicals do not make all Muslims bad. Hope this helps!

You are reading about RADICAL muslims. Not all Muslims are radical. It's just like reading about your ethnicity. Look up what country your relatives are from, and I guarantee that you will find that at some time your ancestors were radical about something.

Try to meet and talk to Muslims who are NOT extremists and you will see that they do not want to hurt anyone. It is these radical killers who misinterpret the religion and use it to kill who are making Muslims look like bad people.
