I went to Parga in Greece (mainland)
It was gorgeous, with amazing beaches.
Plus, I went on a trip and they showed us loads of ruins and the river stix which according to greek mythology, is where the dead go..... sounds morbid, but it was fascinating!!!

Hi,
I'd really recommend going to Lisbon, Portugal. It is a really beautiful city with lots of history, culture, lovely architecture, good food and nightlife, nice people and interesting things to do.
There are lots of long sandy beaches only 10 minutes outside the city- there is a little train that goes from the centre of Lisbon and winds along next to the sea stopping very regularly at seaside towns until it reaches Cascais about half an hour away. It goes every 15 minutes or so so you can easily spend a morning in the city then go to the beach in the afternoon. There are also lots of interesting day trips you can go on- if you like history you'll love Sintra for example.
I think for the combination of history and beaches you won't find many nicer places and its not expensive.
Have a great holiday

I'd like to recommend you somewhere in Southern America: Argentina. I know it's not what you asked, but I think it's worth visiting this amazing country. Cities I recommend: Bariloche, Ushuaia, El Calafate, Tierra del Fuego, Perito Moreno Glacier, in Patagonia. Bye!

Believe it or not, Tenerife has a wealth of culture out of the tourist areas, visit the volcano, the inca pyramids, or the rainforest on the neighbouring mountains.
Rent a car, and just go!
Wow I sound like an advert for Tenerife's tourist board.

"Holiday In Cambodia" - by The Dead Kennedys
So you been to school
For a year or two
And you know youve seen it all
In daddys car
Thinkin youll go far
Back east your type dont crawl
Play ethnicky jazz
To parade your snazz
On your five grand stereo
Braggin that you know
How the nlggers feel cold
And the slums got so much soul
Its time to taste what you most fear
Right guard will not help you here
Brace yourself, my dear
Its a holiday in cambodia
Its tough, kid, but its life
Its a holiday in cambodia
Dont forget to pack a wife
Youre a star-belly sneech
You suck like a leach
You want everyone to act like you
Kiss @ss while you bltch
So you can get rich
But your boss gets richer off you
Well youll work harder
With a gun in your back
For a bowl of rice a day
Slave for soldiers
Till you starve
Then your head is skewered on a stake
Now you can go where people are one
Now you can go where they get things done
What you need, my son.
Is a holiday in cambodia
Where people dress in black
A holiday in cambodia
Where youll kiss @ss or crack
Pol pot, pol pot, pol pot, pol pot, etc.
And its a holiday in cambodia
Where youll do what youre told
A holiday in cambodia
Where the slums got so much soul
