Yes, I think, you can never learn to love and accept another person if you cannot even love and forgive yourself......
Someone who cannot love themselves should have no right to be loved or to love......
I never regret the bad decisions and mistakes I have done before, these past experiences helped me to be the 'me' I am now and my family, friends and people around me presently came to know...

No, what I've done in the past is what makes me who I am, and is what reminds me of what I'm capable of doing. If I truely regret what I've done God will know & forgive me when I die, but for forgiveness in life, I would have to ask those I've sinned against.

Don't believe in "sins" - only inappropriate actions I call mistakes. I also don't believe in forgiveness, which I regard as arrogant. I believe in recognition, understanding, acceptance, embracing, and learning. We can only truly love what we understand, and can only love "other" when we understand ourself. No "mistake" matters if you can live with the consequences, and learn enough from it to benefit others at least equally to any damage the mistake did. So although there are things in my life I deeply regret I believe I can still see continuing commensurate benefits extending from that, and I can embrace it all. That's life. We don't need a gospel. That only displaces the need to learn for oneself, with every fibre of one's being so there are not need of "policemen". We don't need guilt, either. That only acts as a burden, a means of others manipulating us, and saps our energy to aspire to more wisdom and take the necessary risks.

My only sin is foolish hesitation. It's unforgivable & downright unacceptable.
