ok, so i met this guy at the fair. he was showing his cows for 4-h. he is really cutie. my friend says she knows him from some where. but my q is how can i talk to him without getting nervious and talkin too much. and how do i approach him? do i am for his # or should he ask for mine? basically give me a crach coarse in guys 101!

Guys and Gals love to talk about themselves....They love it, forget what ever else you have heard, we will spend hours talking about ourselves if given the opportunity. You already know he's in 4-H and raises cows.... start off with 'Hi', then say something like 'It must be hard raising cows', then let him talk.... let HIM carry the conversation, and if he slows down, prompt him or ask another open ended question. Be interested (or at least fake it if you're not). Hang on his every word. You want his number, say something like 'I really enjoyed talking to you, could I get your number so we can talk some more later?'
Everyone loves attention, and giving someone that attention is the key.

Getting up the guts to talk to someone who you think is cute can be a real nerve racking experience. You are making yourself and your emotions very vulnerable because you are opening yourself up for possible rejection. From what you wrote you have already met this guy so just do some follow up. Ask him if you gave him your digits if he would like to go out. Actually E-mail addresses are better. They aren't as intrusive and the person can answer them whenever the person chooses. Remember, he just may want you too and is too nervous to say anything. So take the initiative. If he says "no" then it's done and go on your merry way. If he says "yes" then you hit a home run. Either way you will know and you won't spend the next million years wondering "what if".

I think you should do what you suggested in expanded part of your question. Show interest in his cows. Ask some silly question about cows. If he is smart enough, he would guess you mean to break the ice and things would be easier for you. If he answers all your queries in an officious way then better to go for a matador than a cutie with bull brain who is interested only in cows !!

just try and stay cool,
talk to him about cows if he thinks ur in to the same thing as him he will think that ur cool,
or ask him for help with something like opening a bottle and just try and be relaxed and if u both click then it will be easy to say
' hey catch u some place next week? or theres a good movie some mates and i are goin to wana come along?

Well, start doing whatever this guy likes to do. Ex. i met this boy josh who is very cute and he rides horses, so i went to the farm and we started talking and he's sitting next to me right now. Try it!
