I had sex the day after my period without a condom because several information sites say it's the "safest" day. Though there is no real day where it's truly impossible, I know it's less likely the day after. Also, my boyfriend pulled out (and yes, I know that precum can still get you pregnant). Earlier that day actually, I had a little brownish spotting from the post period stuff. So technically, it was the 6th day of my period (which I don't usually have) and I don't know if I can count that as the last day of my period or the day after residue. Also, after we had sex I started bleeding a tad more, not from being cut or torn during sex but from more period stuff and it lasted until the next evening (spotting and such). Any insight on if that meant my period was continuing on because of the sex and if I could still get pregnant from what I did? I know this is long but..HELP!

You can get pregnant at any time, however, some days are more risky than others. Straight after a period can be risky as you have already produced the next egg and around five days after the end of a period is when you are most fertile. If you do fall pregnant immediately after a period it will increase the chances of a pregnancy in the falopean tube as the egg is still inside the tube. The way it works is that when you start your period, you will produce an egg. It takes 10 days (around five days after the period) for the egg to reach and attach to the lining of your womb. The egg remains attached to the womb for around 10 further days and if it is not fertilised within that time, the womb starts to reject that egg. After a further 6 days, you will bleed again as the rejected egg and all the blood that has built up is ejected from your body and the cycle continues.

You are not likely to get pregnant. However....you can ovulate two times in a month. You can be irregular. These is always an amount of risk if you have intercourse without birth control.
Try getting on the BC pill. It's way easy to take, makes your periods lighter and less painful and is safe to be on. I was on it from age 16 until I was 25 and when I was READY and married - I went off the pill and got pregnant within 3 months.

Yes you can still get pregnant it just depend on when your ovulation times are and sometimes they fall on the days you have your period so it could be the easiest day to get pregnant.Just take a pregnancy test and stop worrying about it. Why risk it if you arent ready for a kid just use a condom is it that important not to!

you could still get pregnant no matter what day it is. there is a less likely chance of you getting pregnant. But from what you are describing it just sounds like he helped what was left from your period come out. you wouldnt even be pregnant at that point anyways. so the bleeding had to of been from your period.

When I have sex during my period, my period lasts longer. That is probably all that happened with you. Since *usually* women ovulate 14 days after your period, I think you might still be safer, but still, that is real risky, as you already know from what it sounds.

It in basic terms relies upon. each and every lady has a diverse ovulation cycle. this is in the previous, throughout or after your era. the only thank you to ensure is to do an ovulation attempt to work out once you do. As for the recognizing, frequently whilst the bypass stops adequate to the place you do no longer use a tampon or pad, we expect of this is over. yet, there continues to be some popping out, in basic terms in lighter parts. The brown stuff and bleeding after intercourse is probable in basic terms something of it being introduced out by using the penetration. It happens to me if I fairly have intercourse on the tip of my era.

I doubt you are pregnant. You can get pregnant on any day but it is less likely the day after your period since you will not have ovulated yet.

it is normally the safe time but there is no guarantee pregnancy has been known to happen at anytime. That is the rhythm method so many catholic used years ago that is why you see those large families with 7 to 10 kids it didn't always work,
