Yes. About half the people I know, including myself. However, my drawl fluctuates depending on who I'm with, what time it is, how long I've been there, and how much I care/want to make an impression (if I want to make an impression, I get rid of my accent).
I live in Florida.
Why? Have you never met someone from the South? If not, then poor you! You poor, deprived child!!! ^_^

I am the one with the southern drawl.. and when I went to wisconsin for my daughters wedding everyone thought we were the southern hotties..especially my 4 yr. old grandaughter singng, talking dancing at the reception had so many compliments..and in Pittsburgh for another wedding all the guys 20 yrs. younger wanted to be my escort, dance flirt etc..the drawl goes a long way toward attracting attention from the opposite sex..
