1. How come Inuyasha is the only one of the group that can follow Kagome through the well?
2. How many seasons did this show last and do you have to watch the movies to see the end of the story?

ok the well thing is a plot hole inuyasha doesnt carry the sacred jewel kagome does and she can go through without it towards the end of the series so nobody knows why.
ANd the series is i think 6 seasons long and ended at ep 167 but the manga (japanese comic made originally by rumiko takahashi) is still going you can read that online here it picks off on where the last episode ended and the latest chapter out is 515 so the ending isnt out yet but read ikt here :) www.makimaki.110mb.com
you will only find out what happens in the manga because there is no plans for the series to continue and the movies dont really talk much about the story there are 4 movies in which you can watch online too :)

The only reason is because he has jewel shards. The jewel shards allow them to pass between worlds. Its been seen in the show actually when Inuyasha manages to force Kagome into the well and keeps the shards, hence why she couldn't come back on her own (I hope you all remember this part).
Seasons? I'd say 6-7 because it ends with 167 episodes. The movies don't show anything after the series. In fact, I doubt they have anything to do with the main storyline, kind of like how DBZ has a bunch of movies that don't fidn the time scale.

1. not sure exactl why inu is the only one who can pass through the well, maybe b/c he's connected to Kagome some how!!
2. The show hasn't ended, and no the movies don't show the ending, and there are 151 or 152 episodes(so far that I know of), and they are coming out with more episodes....so the show hasn't ended but u can read the manga and maybe find out the ending at http://onemanga.com/ or http://mangarun.com/
I haven't started to read the manga yet so I'm not sure if it shows the ending of the series so goodluck....

This show lasted 4 seasons and the movies follow the manga,not the anime series. Kagome can travel trhough the well because of her spiritual powers,and because she is Kikyo's reincarnation. Kikyo,Kagome,and Inuyasha all have the most to with the Sacred Jewel..........hope this helps! :)

The movies have nothing to do with the TV series they are just side stories. The series follows the manga's.
The reason Inuyasha is the only one who can go through the well is the tree. The tree he was bound to is the same sacred tree that is in kagomi's yard.
