The correct term is actually "knots", not "knots per hour". That would be like saying I weigh 100 pounds per pound.

Having made that distinction, the answer to your question is,

1 knot = 1.1507794 miles per hour

How I do this.
To convert Knots to MPH multiply the knots by 1.15
To convert MPH to Knots multiply the MPH by .87

So, the Ratio you seek is .87:1

1 knots = 1.15077945 miles, so 1 knot/hour = 1.15077945 miles/hour

You can do conversions like this in Google by typing things like "knot to mile."
