I just wonder how many of you give thumbs down for a reason or because you're in a bad mood or just playing around.
Reading all the answers is interesting as some are "interesting" but still need to be read...

Not me. I like giving thumbs up if I think someone has given a good answer or said something nice.
The only time I give a thumbs down is if the answer is really offensive & rude. I don't like people been mean to other people they don't even know just for the sake of it.
And since everyone above me gave nice answers I've given them all a thumbs up.

I don't give thumbs down very often but I have done on occasion when certain answers have had nothing to do with the question and have seriously offended me

aint me ! I have given thumbs down to a few answers which were wrong or nasty . I do give thumbs up if I think someone has said something good or given good advice quite often.

because I dont agree. I think it is a valuable tool, especially if you are the asker of the question. If people thumbs down an answer enough then I disregard the answer as it is probably wrong.
