When my 7 month old woke up and started to cry and then stopped breathing.. Luckily he caught his breath and is fine now but as a mom that scared me more than anything.. I cried for like an hour..your adrenaline and nerves and fears and hormones combine all at once and it's hard to handle..

2 days ago. Wal-mart called 911 on my Mom thinking she was having a seizure. Turned out at the hospital she fainted from not eating breakfast and then taking her back meds. She has a strained tendon and takes pain and muscle relaxers.
Anyway I rode the front of the ambulance the idiot drive kept trying to make small talk and I didn't want to freaking talk.
It turned out okay in the end. I took her home and at 3 we both ate bowls of cereal b/c we were both hungry as lions.
I'm 21 too and felt like a total wuss for tearing up.

I was about age 4-5, my parents let my brothers play in the attic which had the pull down stairs, I begged to go up with them so my parents let me go up with my brothers to play, for fear I would fall, they closed the door- WRONG MOVE- I stepped between the steps of the closed door which looked like floor to me, and the attic stairs opened up, I came crashing down on my back and was completely paralized from the shoulders down- could not sit up or get up, couldn't feel a thing- my parents layed me down in the back seat of the car and rushed me to the hospital where the doctor tried to make me sit but my spine was stuck in stand mode, could not bend- then he tried to sit me down again and we all heard CRACK- I was fine, able to walk, move, sit, bend-
But I was scared to death when this all happened and I think my parents were even more scared-

Gosh, I feel bad for people like Heather, especially when it's so recent!

Anyway, I had what they call a mini-stroke, actually I had a series of them! There is nothing mini about it- it was awful!
I've recuperated, but it's been real tough!
Seizures came about also, around the same time- man, it was hell. I pray to God it never re-occurs.

i think the scariest moment of my life was when iwas having my 3rd child. started having problems, i blacked out, woke to see i was being wheeled at warp sped down a hallway. people were talking, shouting focus on the mother. were losing them both. it was pretty scarey to hear the dr. say you might die in child birth. well, we are both alive and well. he is now 9 years old.

i was at my dad's 4-wheeling race in Penn. and i was watching from the bottom of a tall and very steep hill. i saw a guy flip over his handle bars at the top of the hill and roll head over heels from the top of the hill to the bottom with the 4 wheeler on his body. there was blood every where. i had to call for medics and help them carry his half dead body back up the hill. i found out the next day from cops that were asking me questions, that he had died later that day in a hospital.
