I guess you must have stepped-out for a minute and missed it the last time so I'll repeat it one more time: It's that part between birth and death where we are allowed to think and do stuff.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

If there is no purpose in life, there can be no meaning. Purpose requires a Creator.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell
You can't make your own reason for coming into this world, therefore you can't give real meaning to your life. You can, however, use several psychological techniques to give yourself feelings of self worth. That is what most people are really suggesting. But there is no reality behind the feelings.
Evolution cannot give meaning (neither survival nor reproduction) because evolution is a mindless natural process. Evolution can no more give meaning to us than a snowstorm can give meaning to a snowflake.
But God changes everything. With a Creator, we can talk about real purpose and real meaning. And please, don't just make up something and pretend that it is what God intends; seek God and ask Him.

I have been wondering about this lately. What is the meaning of Life? I have come to my on conclusion that God puts you on Earth to make your on path, good or bad, and that you have to make the most of it . There will always be goodtimes and badtimes, It like a rollercoaster ride, ups and downs. I try to live a good and morale life, it hard sometimes, but it like the old saying "one day at a time", it so true, you never no from one day to the next what will happen. Life is hard, but there has to be a reason behind it? I try not to give up during the bad times and struggles I have, I always say a pray to God and hopefully he will help. We are born, we live, then die, thats the best way I can sum up the meaning of life.

what i think the meaning of life is one main thing: to love and be loved. the main thing is to love everything that you are thankful for, like friends, family, nature, etc.love is very poweful, and in a way, life cannot exist without love. i also believe you should learn, reproduce, and overcome obstacles in your life. people should enjoy life as much as possible, and to seek freedom in any way. another is to explore our frontiers and go beyond it. imagine the impossible. people should respect nature and their own species as well, and to be nice and kind to each other. a hateful world will soon collapse.

To do the best you can with your life. Harvest your intelligence through education. Learn and grow. You have much to give. The meaning of life will come to you if you invest in yourself and your future.

Does it matter? You are the one living your life, so you have to choose what you do with it, whatever the people who had a hand it making you wanted.

Sadly enough, the meaning of life is to stay alive so you can reproduce.
Sorry it isn't something magical.

to live, to do what you enjoy, to not waste your life away, to experience all the things that take your breath away, to make other peoples lives happy and to be able to tell your kids or ur freinds all the amazing stuff youve done and to hopefully be looked up to and envyed by your kids or anyone else, remember you only have one life so make the most of it!
