No! Everything I've done, good or bad, has shaped who I am today. I used to be a drug-addict, and I wouldn't change a thing. Quitting drugs and the people and things I associated in that lifestyle taught me just how strong I am. Nothing can stop me now! I just made Dean's list at college two semesters in a row, and I'm 31 and pregnant!

Sometimes. When I think of past mistakes I think to myself "What was I thinking???" at the time. But I realize a now a lot of my mistakes were due to just plain immaturity and not thinking lot a mature responsible adult...

Yes, occasionally they do.
I try to evaluate how I'm feeling at the time and ask myself : is this regret?, Am I hungry, angry, or just tired? Sometimes when you're in a bad mood or just having "one of those days"
things seem a lot worse than they really are and you have to just cut yourself some slack.

they still live inside my mind and when i do any other mistake i go and contemplate retrospecting all kinds of mistakes i did since i was borne and believe me it is much more torturing than just dark shadows in my life.

in our education system, we first get the lesson and then the exam. But in real life, we first get faced with the exam, then we get the lesson. And the mistakes we make have a crucial role in the lesson we learn. They shape our future.
How they shape your future depends all on you...
For me, some mistakes have made me a better and stronger man. But from some mistakes, I couldn't get the lesson. And I repeat them again and again. Till I learn my lesson from them...

Yes. there's a lot you can move on from but if it's unfortunate that you have done something really bad, it hurts for along time.
