i don't like being female. can someone please tell me the highlights, pros, advantages--etc. to being a female now and when i get older. just to brighten up my life a little.

Don't think men have it easy. Despite the supposed equality of the sexes, men are still expected to pay for dinner and buy gifts for women, even if the woman makes ten times as much (unless the men are boy toys).
It's confusing to know how to act toward a woman. What is the fine line between appreciation and sexual harassment?
Best to work with blinkered eyes and or keep them on the ceiling, I guess, and never give a woman a compliment about her looks unless they have a long relationship already with you.
Is it dangerous to open a door for a woman? Should I ever say "ladies first" or will I be karate-chopped? Should I even say the world "ladies"?
We are made to feel guilty about being men.

1. Woman have so many choices. They can work or stay home. Be a nurse or a soldier. Despite the fact that we think men have it good, ask a man who has chosen a career viewed as predominantly for women, like a secretary or a nurse, or one who has chosen to stay home and raise the kids while Mom works. They get a lot of flack and are looked on as less of a man.
2. Women can be in a really bad mood and blame it all on PMS.
3. Women can have a life grow inside of them.
4. Women can get away with buying Star and People at the checkout.
5. Women have lots of dressing options and looking pretty. It would be terrible to be a man and have to choose between the blue suit or the blue suit.
6. A woman can do all the things that women naturally do and she can do most things a man can do also. A woman can keep a house looking like something out of House Beautiful, a woman can make a delicious meal from leftovers, a woman can create life. A woman can plow the north 40, hot coat the roof, milk the cows, come in, take a bath, and be ready for a night on the town. Men can't even put a dish in the sink.
7. When the ship is sinking we get to grab our kids and get off first!
And thats just some of them JUST WAIT until you grow up. Then the fun Really starts!

If you are a "taker" like the oh so charming Autumn, then perhaps the highlights, pro's, and advantages that she and her ilk suppose will comfort you.
On the other hand, perhaps you are experiencing a natural self-questioning typical of a thoughtful progression toward self-actualization. In that case being female or male has very little to do with the self-aggrandizing puffery propounded by too many of the prior respondents.

Being female is the best thing for me.Since I don't know how to be anything else.
The reality is that I am female.
The question should not be what are the advantages of being female but what are the advantages of being you in what ever form you are ( male or female).

Nowadays women are empowered, they can get tattoos, they can be C.E.O's, they can be politicians, they have their own pro sports league's, they can go out drinking with "the girls ",
they go to strip clubs, they watch ESPN and today it's cool to be a " bad girl " all the things they always said they disliked about men.

females 'get away ' with a lot of things. A girl can wear men's clothes but guys can't wear women's. There seem, I repeat SEEM to be more gay men than women . They would KILL to be you, they wish they were born a girl and you're taking it for granted

females live longer than men on average. females can express their emotions better than males. the bond a mother and a child can have is trully priceless.

I have no clue. You can get out of tickets if the cop is a guy, You don't have to work if you don't want to. You can take as long as you want to get ready.
