Well if you are using an OPK it tells you that there is a window of about 24 - 48 hours that you "might" ovulate. But once you actually O you only have 12 hours to fertilize that egg. Which is why most doctors say have sex every other day around the time you would O. Sperm can live up to 3days. In some cases 5 days. To much sex will live dead sperm and block the healthy sperm from getting to the egg. If the test comes up neg today then you have O and I hope you had time to "get busy". Best of luck!

When I was trying to get pregnant I signed up to My monthly cycles. It helped me a lot and is free! You have 3 days that you are most fertile from the point of ovulation. When you input your period details, the charts show those 3 days when you are most fertile. You can even set up e-mail reminders, which I found handy. Hope this helps.
