Oh for Heaven's sake! Many states don't even let human propelled bicycles ride on the sideWALK. What makes you think a 45+ MPH motor would be allowed? In any regards, this question cannot be answered by anyone here in the absence of necessary information. You need to read my other post and consider revising.

First off these bikes are not street legal. Unless you buy the light kit for it. Second you cannot ride on the sidewalk,or the street without fore mentioned light kit, there for you don't need a license. Yes the police will stop you and I'm not sure where you are but here it is a $300 fine for not having insurance and they will take the bike.

You can't ride it on the street.
You do not need a license, since you can't ride it on the street.
The police will stop you if you try riding it on a street or on a sidewalk.
So where do people ride these things? Rose Bowl parking lot!

as long as a vehicle is powered by an engine, it has to be approved by the LTA for road use. even those battery operated bicycle. for your case, definitely it will not be approved by them as it is dangerous according to them. as long you ride it at a proper place ( NOT on sidewalk, car park, bicycle track, road etc) you wouldn't be in any trouble with the law. i think the only safe place to enjoy the bike is at a mini circuit(if you have one). you don't need a license for it. just a reminder, it comes with a heavy penalty if you are caught breaking the law by the police.

You're not even supposed to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk. These are not street legal and are intended for use on private property only.

No, no, yes.
side + walk = a place to WALK on the SIDE of the road.
What in the world makes you think otherwise?
