Hands down, without a doubt... polar bears are far more aggressive.

You still would not want to mess with a grizz, but polars... good lord you have no chance with a polar bear. They will hunt you down and kill you for no reason. Sit and wait for hours just to knock off your head then walk away.

Actually, if you go to Wikipedia, it clearly states that the polar bear, not only being the largest land carnivore on earth, is also the most likely of any bear to kill and prey on humans as a food source.

Most grizzly attacks come from people walking up and surprising a mother with her cubs, hence the little bear bells you wear in grizzly country so you don't surprise a bear.

If you wear the same bell around polar bears, it's much more likely to be more aof a dinner bell for the bear than protection for you.

The polar bear would go after you as a meal.
The grizzly bear may attach you for a meal if you were a salmon.
