Yes, because it is not the deaf person that is hearing anything. It is the judge and/or jury.

Yes. It is called a HEARING because teh JUDGE is hearing the cases. It is not important for the others to be hearing types or not.

no it's no longer a hearing it is now a sign of innocence or guilt on his behalf!!!! but alass it's still called a hearing!!!
