What would an adult be like, if they had a child as an immature teenager?

usually i would say it stunts their development. Usually they couldn't do the usual college activities like party and socialize. Because they had a kid to take care of. Also they are usually more dependent on their parents - it's much much harder to make enough money to move out when you have a kid. Also it's harder to get people to date you when you have a kid. It's much harder to get through school because of the cost of child care. A host of problems.

Hmmm.... now that's a loaded question.

To put it simply, an adult who had a baby when they were an immature teenager... had to grow up faster than most. What would they be like as an adult? --- Unless you find some statistical survey that's been documented in the past, I would say that would depend upon their background, and their ability to accept responsibility.

Didn't do it myself, but had friends that did. There are many immature adults... kids who never grew up. And they didn't have to have a baby to be like that.

Odds are that many females who had a baby as a teenager, also learned faster than most. Whether she learned from the experience is totally up to her circumstances.

I got pregnant at 16 had my baby boy at 17....I am now 33 & I live my life just as normal as someone who waited to have a baby. I am not condoning this but you can live a very normal adult life after you have had a baby at a young age. You just need lots of support from everyone around which is sometimes difficult. If this is about you or a friend I wish you all the best. Everything will turn out fine.

it would depend on the personality of that teen...some would remain immature and irresponsible even if they didn't have a baby that young; some will become more responsible because of the baby than they would have otherwise
