my mom told me that my period is probably as long as it is b/c i use tampons. i told her that it doesnt make a difference but she swears its true. is it?

No they do not. My periods were 5-6 days when I used pads and they are 4-5 days now when I use tampons.

No it doen't. It may seenm longer because your changing them all the time but no, it doesn't
