George W. Bush and explain how the latter is qualified for the Presidency.

I am truly amazed by the depth of ignorance displayed in nearly all of these early answers. A person is educated because they hold extremely expensive degrees funded by family wealth. Abe Lincoln's education didn't count. because he was self-educated. Jefferson, who read 19 hours a day in law, Greek, Latin, natural history, science, architecture, and agriculture and would put any modern college prof to shame, was educated "for his time."
"Leadership"--the ability to use lies and force to stay in power--qualifies a man for the Presidency.
Wow.

And Abe Lincoln "instigated" the Civil War.

Oh, my God.

Qualification for presidency of George Bush: He won the election.

Comparison of Jefferson & Lincoln education: Same as comparing Clinton. No bearing on the subject.

As with all liberal thought, philosophy and policies. You have begun by believing a lie. It's not education that qualifies anyone as a President. It's leadership and policies. It's the voters. If you don't like the president, blame the voters. Bush was well educated.

Abe had very little formal education. Jefferson did (for his time), and was the founder of the University of Virginia.

GW's education is fairly prestigious, with a BA from Yale and an MBA from Harvard. If you were to actually compare him with the other Presidents, he would rank fairly high on the list. Comparing him to more recent Presidents would rank him somewhat behind Clinton and Carter, ahead of Nixon, Reagan, and Eisenhower, and on a par with his father and Kennedy.

sir........by the sarcastic tone in your question i can tell you are a democrat and a GWB hater,,,, any comment made will not change your opinion....
but for what it's worth seem like ole Abe was the person who lobbied, adopted and supported little conflict called "THE CIVIL WAR",,, and no one dare to bash the presidents authority, in fear of committing treason,,,,,,which was punishable by death......maybe you should check your history book !

I don't think education, as a general rule, qualifies or disqualifies one from be able to be President.
