I think that it's sad that those parents are doing this to their kids. Did you see the episode where the girl blew up because her mom gave her the car before the party? I wish I could of have seen her face when she realized how stupid she looked on t.v.

If only 1 person out of 20 showed up then I wouldn't bother having a party. Instead, invite your closest family friends and have dinner at a nice restraunt. No point trying to make yourself popular by throwing a party birthdays don't have to be about parties.

to each its own i guess...some people are flashy flamboyant individuals some are more modest...i didnt even have a party when i turned 16 i just wanted a car but my sis turns 16 next year and she is having a big party...i say this as long as she has great grades and does what she is suppose too she can have whatever she wants....

I think it's ridiculous to spend that kind of money on an effing sweet 16 party. Most of them aren't even able to drive legally yet but they get those really expensive cars wtf? The parents need to slow down and realize that it is a complete and utter waste of money.

They sound fun at first, but if you have ever seen My Super Sweet 16, they all turn out to be dramatic and pointless. They should be grateful that their parents are spending so much money on them instead of yelling at them because their streamers are navy blue instead of teal.

I don't like them cause the person having the party is never there. There always changing or waiting for there car. You don't get to dance with your friends because there is like a jillion people. And it only last for 2 nite
