Make a quilt. Rummage through the house and find material, either unused swatches or old clothing (with sentimental value or not). You can use a sewing machine to piece together or if your patient, hand sew the pieces together. If you use old clothing it makes a nice heirloom piece. Make it as small (maybe for a pet) or as big as you like.

You could buy some of those little wooden figurines from the craft store and a couple of bottles of paint and decorate them... There are many shapes to choose, from flowers to bird house to cars even.
You could also get a wreath form and a grouping of silk flowers. Cut the flowers from their stems and hot glue to the wreath.

Look through your clothing and see if there is anything that could use a makeover. Cutting, reshaping, painting, patching, sharpies, anything that will alter the look of the item can be used. You can get as cheap or expensive as you would like and when you are done, you have something new to wear.
