This question is more for the woman.
A friend and I are thinking about taking ballroom dancing classes. How do woman view that? I mean men who can ballroom dance?
Just curious what the responses will be :-)

my husband took ballroom dancing for like 6 years growing up.
we've never danced, but i do make fun of him. i really don't mean it bad, though, i just like picking on him. i really think it is very cool that he can/could ballroom dance, even though i cannot dance at all! (2 left feet...)
i think you and your friend should do it!

I think a man who can ballroom dance would be absolutely charming, but I can't say I've ever met a man who claimed to be a great ballroom dancer. I think most women would think that is fantastic, mainly because many men (sorry, stereotype) would rather lay around on the couch all day, watch football and drink beer. You should totally go for the classes- If a woman criticizes you for doing it (which Idk why she would) then its her loss anyway...give it a try! It will keep you in shape, and of course, you'll meet more women at dance classes!

I love to ballroom dance and the fun part for men is that there is never a shortage of dance partners. I always leave with the girl I brought to the dance but I rarely get a chance to sit it out before a woman will ask me to dance. From young to seniors I will dance all night with them. It's a nasty job but someone has to do it.

Anything that strarts with "I know how to..." sounds good, be it ballroom dance, snorkel, surf, ski or knit. I can't think of anything that would make me think, "Oh, no, he can do this and that, that's such a turnoff." It goes only the other way around.
Being a good ballroom dancer is charming, of course. Minimal ability to dance, at least in its rudimentary form, is a part of good manners.
My partner says that since he started dancing the problem of finding good looking girls was solved once and for all.

I find men who can dance extreamly sexy. Because of how much I dance and the fact that I do go to events a guy that at least has the basics of ballroom is almost a prerequisite. Basically I LOVE men who can dance.

I used to compete in ballroom and there were never enough men :(. Men who can dance are highly sought after by most women.

we absolutely love a guy who can do it.
it feels so great to be dancing with a good dancer. The grace and movement you will learn will be good for your relatioships the rest of your life.

Yeah some girls like it... But most of the guys are a little odd, so it'd be a good change.

you don't know how many girls you can get by dancing :)
sometimes even a girl doesn't like you, dancing makes her love you :)
