i went into labor at home after work and gave birth to my daughter by myself in the dark, it was like 4am and i couldnt get up to call anyone and everyone was passed out sleeping in the other room. this is no joke- completely serious. when she came out. i got up walked over and turned the light on. the cord was slapping me in the leg which was very gross. the people at the hospital were shocked by the whole thing and i was the talk of the maternity ward.

Thank God it didn't take your toe with it!

I rolled over my big toe with a loaded pallet jack at work about 6 months ago. Since then, my toe nail turned black and fell off. It's growing back now, but I wear Steel Toed Boots to work so it doesn't happen again.

Like REALLY painful? I discovered that I am sensitive to sucralose used in Splenda...Think contraction type pains when you are nearing the end when the baby enters the birth canal... Only without the adorable reward at the end.

I stabbed myself in the palm with a steak knife on accident. It went about 3/4 of an inch deep. I was cooking bacon and it burnt me when I had a knife in my hand and I freaked out and stabbed myself. I felt like and idiot.

The most recent painful experience I had was hearing that my favorite uncle passed away, and knowing that he was only 5 years younger than my dad is.

I lost my job yesterday morning, and I'm in the middle stage of buying a house and I have kids to support.

That's pretty darn painful to me.

Tried to run a six mile race too soon after knee surgery. Felt like a knife in my knee.
