You must be mistaken. Rice was in the Middle-East for normal Diplomatic consultations on matters of mutual interest. There can't be anything like arming Egyptians.

War and weapon sales are 2 of the mainstays of the American economy. Nothing like a War to keep the profits coming so the political donations can keep perpetuating the myth that everyone is out to get you. What a crock. Hasn't anyone learned anything from previous sales to that region. Who supplied Saddam with WMD's when Iran was the enemy in the late 70's and what did he do with them? The terrorists from 9-11 were Saudis so what do you do, sell them another 20billion dollars worth of weapons. Nonsense but a guarantee of another war in the next few years. Good business but lousy for future generations.

You heard it right. Can you believe it the stupidity?

Our Country is selling millions and millions $ to Egypt for weapons of all kinds, even hi-tech weapons. I'm not sure what else is being sold.

If these so call leaders would read their Bible it states by God himself, you can not trust Egypt.

Egypt and Russia along with Iran will attack Israel. This is Bible Prophecy.

By selling this artillery to Egypt will come back and bite us on the butt!!

We are talking billions here,Bush and his cronies have a vested interest in all this. The Bush family has huge investments in the arms industry.War is in his best interest and he knows that America's occupation must end as the American people will say enough is enough. The best way to keep the arms money flowing is to let some one else keep the war going. There is no end to this one

We've been selling weapons and technology to many Arab countries for years, try reading a bit folks. This is nothing new, except maybe the fact that the liberal media is trying to inflate its importance to cast more aspersions on the administration. Check the facts guys, Carter was the Prez when we started selling big-time weapons to Egypt - it was part of the Camp David Accords. Geez, liberal ignorance is bliss.

Well we have been for years. That said we need to contact our reps and ask them to prevent this from happening. This is an area of the world that simply does not need more guns.

Yes, the Bush administration apparently wants to make sure that all the Muslim nations are armed so that the war on terrorism is a never ending war.

Money. Pure and simple. Bush and Cheney want to make as much as possible before they are ridden out of office on a rail.

Of course. Selling arms makes money for George W. Bush. Why should he stop making money? The American people have given him free rein.
