Why not? It wasn't that many years ago we were selling them to Hussien. We can just set ourselves up another nice long war.

Bush will certainly be brought to justice, but it may take until after his term, as the spineless repubs will never vote to impeach, and the Dems do not have the votes.
Bush selling more arms to the Saudi's?
Can this guy screw America any more than he already has?
Saudi Arabia is the world's largest financier of radical Islamic hate schools. These schools are scattered throughtout the world, but mostly in the Middle East.
These schools are teaching the youth of the MidEast to grow up hating Americans, yet Bush applies no pressure on the Saudi royal family to stop this practice.
This is one reason why the war on terror will never work, because Bush is too stupid to attack the problem at its' root, and there will always be an inexhaustible supply of terrorists growing up wanting to kill Americans.
Bush's war on terror is like moping up all the water on the kitchen floor and telling everyone what a good job you are doing, while ignoring the busted water pipe under the kitchen sink.
Now we want to give them all these weapons? For free?!
Just frigging brilliant! Can the American people take anymore of this arrogant, snot nosed kid we have in the White House?

I've heard of Wahhabism and the Saudis. I think Wabash is somewhere in the states and there was a train or something. I guess they can arm anyone they want. Maybe this is a way of getting more weapons inside Iraq so they can claim Iran sent them to arm insurgents.

You have obviously never been to Saudi Arabia. There is no "front" and the Saudi's have killed alot of alqaida as well, and shut down their operations. If the Saudi's are making 225 million a day, Couldnt they afford to buy whatever weapon they want from where ever they want regardless???

Dude, the Saudi's are not a "front" for the (Wabash) -- I assume you are referring to the Wahhabi.
The CIA has alleged that some Saudi oil money is going to support Wahhabism but nothing has been set in concrete. What the Saudis are doing for sure is hunting down AlQueda on their own soil and making it difficult for them to operate there.

Sure.
Why should it matter that most of the 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia? Or that according to US military and intelligence reports, most foreign arms sales or aid to insurgents is from Saudi Arabia?

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
Iran is currently the region's biggest threat, and Saudi Arabia remains one of Iran's chief rivals. By arming them, we make them more competitive with Iran, thus increasing pressures intended to knock Iran down a few notches.
Whether this move will come back to bite us remains to be seen. We have fought against US supplied weapons that were provided to our then allies before, and we will likely continue to do so. (think Taliban)
However, decisions must be made about which threat is more vital, a current and immediate threat, or a possible future threat.

Makes about as much sense as his selling the ports to the Arabs
We stopped that and we can stop this too, if there is enough public outrage.
