L.T. will be gone, so pick whichever remains of Stephen Jackson or Shaun Alexander. If Larry Johnson signs before you draft, pick him. Be wary of Frank Gore, he broke his hand yesterday. They're saying it will only affect the pre-season, but who knows if it will cause fumbles later on?

I would not take a QB. Based on banksd74's stats above, there is not much difference between the number 1 QB and number 2 QB in TDs. If you are in a standard Yahoo league that only awards 4 points for passing touchdowns, QBs are even less favorable.
If your draft snakes and you have the 3rd, 18th and 23rd picks, you should be able to get a decent QB in the 2nd or 3rd round (probably a top 4 QB - don't forget about Vince Young for TDs this year). Unless, as mentioned above, there are a lot of teams in your league. Then you might consider taking a QB because the difference between Peyton and the #10 QB is great.
LT is the clear #1 pick and if he isn't there I'd consider S. Alexander then S. Jackson. Addai will also be a solid option this year.

If your league is based on TD's then check these stats. Other than LT, no one scored more than 20 td's for a running back.
NFL Total Touchdowns
Rank Player Team TDs
1 LaDainian Tomlinson SD 31
2 Larry Johnson KC 19
3 Maurice Jones-Drew JAC 16
4 Willie Parker PIT 16
5 Marion Barber DAL 16
6 Steven Jackson STL 16
Now check out the touchdowns for the QB's:
NFL Passing Touchdowns
Rank Player Team TDs
1 Peyton Manning IND 31
2 Carson Palmer CIN 28
3 Drew Brees NO 26
4 Tom Brady NE 24
5 Eli Manning NYG 24
6 Marc Bulger STL 24
7 Rex Grossman CHI 23
8 Philip Rivers SD 22
9 Jon Kitna DET 21
I'd pick a QB if both LT and Steven Jackson are gone. I don't like LJ this season based on a weak offensive line, an average QB and his attitude. Plus you can never go wrong with Manning as a 1st round pick.
Good luck

Obviously LaDanian Tomlinson would be the first pick you would try to get. I, however, would probably opt for Shaun Alexander. I wouldn't go with Larry Johnson as Priest Holmes will be back and they'll probably share carries. I also wouldn't draft Steven Jackson from the Rams because Marc Bulger will have a breakout year. It's too bad you can't trade your 3rd pick for more picks in the later rounds.

Gore if he is still there, Addai if not. Maybe see if someone will overvalue one of these guys and give up a pick or 2 in the rounds 3 or 4 to move up a few slots so you can get Manning, Rudi Johnson, Reggie Bush, etc. around 8 or 9. I think the 5th spot is the edge of the "top notch" players and really players 5-10 have little differences.

How many teams are there? Well if it is a low number of teams you should pick Steven Jackson. but if he is not there at the third pick, NEVER pick LJ. now the Priest is back he wil get less carries. You should pick Frank Gore. Then pick a QB!
If there is a high amount of teams, I suggest you pick a good QB like Brady.manning, Or Brees.
Then go for like Willis Mcghee or Marive Jones drew!
Hope that helps!
GOOD LUCK!!!

Assuming L.T. goes #1, you'll have Steven Jackson, Larry Johnson, Shaun Alexander, and Frank Gore to choose from.
If Steven Jackson is there, take him quickly.
If it's down to the rest, it's tougher. LJ would be a lock if he wasn't holding-out...if your draft is soon, I'd take LJ and hope things work-out soon. If you don't feel comfortable waiting, take Alexander...I think he'll rebound from last year.

Pick LT if he isn't gonna be taken
Peyton Manning will be a major selection for TD's.
Take Shaun Alexander, Rudi Johnson, Larry Johnson (optional) or S. Jackson.

I'd go for Shaun Alexander (he simply has a nose for the end-zone) or Steven Jackson, if Availiable.

Choose a QB who will put up big numbers. Look for a team that relies heavily on the pass (Manning, Brees, Rivers).
