I have an aunt named Hazel, its a lovely name...

However, remember when you baby is born it may not suit, we originally wanted one name and it has been changed 5 times since then and the baby STILL isn't here lol!

How about a name of a relative, our daughter - no matter what her first name is - will be given the second and third names of both of our deseased grandmothers.... We liked the idea, if it turns out to be a boy it will have our grandfathers names as middle names... Try it and see...

Hazel Ann is nice

I had a dear friend named Hazel who died in her 30's from a brain aneurism, leaving behind a husband and young daughter. I can't hear the name Hazel without getting a little teary-eyed. If I hadn't had this friend though, I would probably say no, Hazel isn't actually a very pretty name. Reminds me of Witch Hazel.
