in the local shop who is freindly to others and not him and a woman in my new little volunteer job who dead unfriendly, i never feel like talking to people when she is around and when she is gone I do, what is she so weird for

There are a lot of unpleasant people in the world. Don't let them get to you. Be your happy self and ignore them. If they say something nasty, just smile and walk away.
If that nasty woman is around you, don't even make eye contact. Keep talking with the nice people. Don't make yourself act differently because she brings her badness around.

Its been my experience that from time to time we all run into this type of situation with someone. Don't let it bother you. Just observe and if it escalates then to the shop owner or the supervisor of your volunteer job. Then move on.

She's probably from Long Island. There is a big difference between being friendly and kissing someones behind. She probably does a lot of that.

I tend to ignore people like that. They are miserable and probably just self absorbed. Don't let crummy people ruin your day.
