I love-

Chicago- glitzy glamorous femme fatales is amazing to watch when composed with good music

Rent- the fun plot is close to perfect with every thing from romance between a young Latina and a man who thought he would never love again, to the death of a male cross-dresser by the doing of aids

Grease- well, come on, who doesn't love Grease? Who knew that a guy could dance like that? The romantic and youthful plot mixed with the great songs makes it an instant classic

Annie- this movie is classic, beautiful and relatively believable... Personally I love it!

The Music Man- This musical was my first professional performance, and even at the age of 7 I loved it! It's fun, upbeat, then romantic slow at the perfect times!

The Producers- Okay, so, this movie is sultry, scandalous, and terrific! Personally I thought it was hilarious!

Moulin Rouge- This was a beautiful love story, brought to life with amazing actors, the songs were contemporary, the plot was updated, but they managed to keep the feel of a different time in France, amazing, magical!

Phantom of the Opera- This movie was simply breathtaking, that's all I can really say to describe it!

Hairspray- I haven't even seen it yet and it's already one of my favorties!

My favorite musical movie of all time is a "Golden Oldie" called "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" - It is a Classic. They don't make Musicals like they used to, such as classics like "Singing In The Rain" and another two classics, being "Oklahoma" and "Fiddler On The Roof", also "West Side Story"....there are so many of them, however to answer your question, my favorite would be Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!

It's a tough decision between RENT and Phantom of the Opera. I'd have to say RENT though, because it deals with real-life controversial issues. And i luv the whole NYC at the end of the 80's thing. it's awesome.

Hello Dolly takes it for me..just listen to the opening bars of Barbara Streisand singing "When the Parade Marches by"...a thing of beauty. The dancing is extraordinary...excellent.
