Cool. Now that I read Operacats post, though, I think we have too many words, over 450 thousand, when plain English would do. How about we eliminate some synonyms and replace them with plain English phrases that are self explanatory and make spelling like it sounds? That whole Latin thing was egoistic anyway, dividing us further. We need a pure language. To me, simple words are cryptic enough. If English is an international language it would be nice if it was easier to learn. Let me put that another way.
Erudite. Presently as I cogitate on Operacat's cerebral machinations, in retrospect, I elucidate the conundrum in the following manner: we may perchance have acquired sufficient connotations considering philosophically that 4.5e to the superscript five units are stunning my cognitive powers and many similarities of language are redundant and may be expendable, archaic and paradoxically should be phonetically derived as p1 and p2 would indicate.

Great sounding title...but I think that most people have never even heard of the word, or would not know the meaning of it.
The following is a list of Synonyms of one: ''alone, definite, different, lone, odd, only, particular, peculiar, precise, separate, single, singular, sole, solitary, special, specific, uncommon, unique, or cardinal number.''
and the following are Synonyms for Cardinal Number: ''basic, cardinal, central, chief, controlling, dominant, first, foremost, fundamental, important, leading, main, major, number one*, outstanding, overruling, paramount, pre-eminent, predominant, primary, prime, principal, prominent, underlying, vital''
