Throw myself in front of a speeding train. My whole future DEPENDED on your will.

Since we don't know each other, I probably wouldn't do much.

If, however, I was someone that did know you and that you knew, I'd be sad to hear that you were cutting me out of your will. However, I'd recognize that you have the right to do whatever you wished. I might be curious why, and might even consider talking to you - not about the cutting out, but whether I had disappointed you in some way.

Otherwise, I'd just move on with my life.

I've already experienced grandparents dying as well as one of my parents. None of them left me anything in their will - and as far as I know, I hadn't done anything to offend them. They either didn't have a will, or didn't choose to leave me anything. That was their choice and I am certainly not going to hurt myself by being upset about it.

Well ... I'd have no choice except to call up Circuit City and tell them not to send over my upgraded Double-Decker refrigerator box/duplex. I'll still be sleeping pon the ground for a while.

you didn't mention why... it all just depends on the situation but no matter what I think my feelings may be hurt that you didn't try to reslove matters with me first. Life is too short to get hung up on differences and such. If someone was important enough to make it in the will in the first place I think it would be worth reconsidering your plight.

Frankly, from a legal standpoint there is nothing I could do. I am a grown man and came to realize years ago that if someone wants to remember me in their will that it is a gift, not an entitlement. I am not entitled to anything from anyone. A gift is another matter.

Oh, well. I knew you didn't like me much anyway. I guess that is the way the ball bounces.

I would probably just express surprise that I was in your will in the first place.

Since I don't know you, I probably would just be shocked I was ever in it to begin with.
