Everyone has their hobbies. From the looks of it, celebrities tend to go for more "exclusive" (aka. illegal) hobbies. You hear on the news how so-and-so did drugs and boozed it up. I'm guessing this was just one of those incidents. It's a very cruel one though and yes, I do believe he is guilty. How can you say...I don't know that was going on in MY property?!

If the allegations are true then the man is sick and needs psychiatric help. Here again if true, then the cruelty to the animals really speaks volumes about the man's deranged mind. That's why he did it in that he has a few loose marbles. Dog fighting is one thing but wetting down a dog then electrocuting it or slamming them to the ground until dead because they were not good fighters. To quote Madden, 'his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.'

specially, I agree, the canine scuffling with, connection to playing, mendacity to the commissioner, and so on is extensively greater extreme and can particularly warrant an entire life ban. however the suspension replaced into "indefinite" and that i think of Goddell replaced into waiting till Vick replaced into sentenced to make an tremendously final determination. Goddell replaced into form of over a barrel with the full element. i think of he needs to throw Vick out, yet he additionally has to accomplish that in a fashion that the participant's union does not might desire to flow to bat for Vick. Vick did not admit to any playing, it under no circumstances went to trial so the testimony from the different individuals isn't "shown," Goddell has not something to tutor Vick participated in any playing which already warrants an entire life ban and can be the least difficult "out" for the NFL. i think of he wanted to confirm how long Vick may well be sentenced for then make his determination. yet definitely, Vick in basic terms solved the NFL's subject. the possibility of Vick getting greater suitable than 18 months now's a lot greater suitable. i'm particular he's in basic terms pissed that decide suitable off and could be going away for a mutually as. It won't rely if the NFL says he can play ever lower back or not. with the aid of the time, he gets out and the suspension is served, he won't be in any condition to play soccer. yet to be on the risk-free area, the NFL now has distinctive techniques wherein to deliver him packing.

we've all seen movies like "bloodsport", and a few others to name where wealthy people gather in a secluded spot and watch Mixed Martial Arts til somebody dies or passes out. Rich people seem to have extreme and exotic hobbies. I'm not saying its right, but it seems to be there rush. I really dont think the money was ever an issue. Maybe to the others being accused but not Vick.

Same reason Michael Jordan Would gamble 20-30-50k on Poker Games. The Same Reason Alex Rodrfiguez frequents late night illegal poker clubs around NYC. The Same Reason Pete Rose Gambled. The Same Reason the Idiot NBA Official was gambling on NBA games. The Thrill of it...i dont understand it, but for these people who do it, There is sum Adrenalin Rush about gambling. Vick has apparently been Gambling on Dog Fighting from the time he was in Va-Tech. I guess he figured why not get involved in the actual Business end of it. Sick Sick People do sick sick Things.

Because he's stupid! Why would anyone mess with it unless they enjoyed it for some weird reason. I live 15 miles from Roy Jones Jr, former light heavy weight boxing champion. He has millions in the bank and yet he fights chickens. Everyone knows it, but he just hasn't ben busted.

Deion Sanders was quoted by Peter King in his online 'Monday Morning Quarterback' column on si.com as saying that those who follow the sport like the thrill of seeing two combatants fight to the death, that even in something like Ultimate Fighting one eventually backs off.
Sick? Definitely... But they are callous people...

Because people who never had that much money before, don't know what to do when they get it. They should teach a class on it in high school, how to earn a million, keep it and not make stupid mistakes.

It's not about the money. In the hip-hop crowd he hangs around with dog fighting is the in thing. Vick and his brother are both heavy into the urban hip-hop rap scene, having pit-bulls, financing and putting on dog fights just makes him feel like he's a "playa".

Could be the thrill, most athletes love adrenaline and that probably is a good way of getting it. And the risk, many males need to take some sort of risks in their lives.
