My girlfriend wants to move out of her dad's house to live with me, but she is only 17. Is she able to move out of her home without her parent's consent? We live in NY. I need sources for any answers as we are serious about this and I do not know where to find accurate information about it... answers like "yes you can do it" are of no use to me...

You need to be 18 unless you have the parent's consent or have gained the status of emancipated minor.
