They will change

plain and simple.

The local stars are moving, just relatively slowly in our sky. Over time, they will be noticeably changed, some closer together, some farther apart (from our perspective).

As for the milky way colliding with andromeda, you are talking distances of tens of thousands of light years. The constellations are within a few hundred light years.

The Milky Way Galaxy is on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy (small "g"). The collision is forecasted to occur within 7 to 8 billion years and will certainly rearrange everything within the two galaxies.

However, I would not get to upset about it. The Sun is forecasted to begin its Death Dance in 5 Billion Years when it uses up most all of its available hydrogen gas for nuclear fusion. At that time it will expand four to five times in size and begin swallowing everything in the nearby vicinity. Mercury and Venus are sure to go, followed by Earth. With the increase in size of the Sun, heating on Earth will be altered drastically and water supplies everywhere will be boiled off. So, life as we know it will be dried up and toasted to a crisp.

It is not a pretty scenario, but that is the forecast a long, long time in the future.
