I am 5'2" and my waistline, hips and bust don't vary much in size from each other. That leaves me with not much of a figure, just kinda stocky rectangle looking. What is good fashion advice for this type of figure? What styles look good? I noticed square necklines look good on me as well blouses that end at the hips.

try wrap dresses.
it hugs your body, showing your curves.
then not so low necklines add sexiness and spice...
do not wear long skirts, it will just make you appear short.
opt for skirts which length hangs above the knee...
and of course, wear heels...
that will definitely be a perfect look for you...

we are of the same body type and height...
i get compliments that choosing the right clothes make you appear taller and sexier.

I have very little difference in my waist/hips as well. Anything that nips you in at the waist is good. I find wrap dresses to be flattering, and just about anything with a self-tie belt. Arrange things so they sit a bit higher up on your ribcage, where most women tend to be a bit smaller.

well you know the old superstition "dont wear horizontal stripes!" its true. but if you wear top-to-bottom stripes it can elongate your body! and i know pinstripe pants arent so cute or glamorous so try a skirt.....not a mini skirt try the Chino A-Line Skirt from Jcrew very flattering!!
also very high wedge heels or platforms are in this year that could be great for you!!! and yes a small (not super square!) square neck would look very nice....
hope to help

Yes blouses that have built in shape will look good on you. The more movement in the chosen fabric the better ~~.
