while the smoking ban replaced into initially presented it did no longer have a directly impression because of the fact the human beings who smoke went outdoors. of direction because of the fact the climate grew to become chillier human beings the two had to pass without or stay at living house interior the convenience of their own residence. As for the non human beings who smoke, properly, they are happy that they are able to drink in a smoke loose environment yet how long will it final? because of the fact the pubs close down with the aid of loss of employer, it could have an effect on the non human beings who smoke at last because of the fact there will be no pubs or golf equipment to pass to. people who reported that they could now use the pubs because of the fact they are smoke loose can no longer replace the sales that Landlords have misplaced, and with the extra beneficial taxation on alcohol they're going to of direction purchase much less. this is a downward style till the government re-introduce smoking into social factors returned. you could no longer have it the two techniques.

Your question seems a bit confused. Smoking has not been banned...smoking in public places has.

But, smoking itself will never be banned as (ironically) the taxes from cigarettes is equal to the amount of money paid for Health care by the British Govt. each year. Alcohol generates even more revenue from taxes. So...no, it will never be banned.

You mean like no drinking inside a public facility, you have to be 20 feet from entrances? Just joking, but your question is kind of confusing because drinking alcohol and driving is against the law.

They tried that in the late 20's & early 30's ... it didn't work. I'd rather have someone under the influence of grass driving at me than a drunk.

They already tried to outlaw alcohol. It was a disaster.
